God's Beauty

Sundays are such wonderful days, especially in the Spring. Our weather has been very spring-like over the past several days which has given me the chance to photograph some of God's beauty growing right in my own yard. Just had to share. Enjoy!!

Thanks for visiting,

  1. Thankyou for the beautiful photos of the flowers in your garden. Spring is when I am acutely aware of the re-birth of life, after the deadness of winter. My garden is where I found God; the joyous mating calls that are sung by the birds and the frogs and their business with nest-making (birds), the disappearance of the deer to have their young, and I even celebrate the worms and other bugs in my garden. There are a pair of bald-headed eagles that I have been observing for a few months now. I started to notice them carrying sticks to a nearby fir tree, high up, building a nest, larger and larger. I hear and see them in constant contact with each other, taking turns, I assume, to sit on the eggs. They make sweet sounds to each other, when together. Two works so much better than one-what a wise God.
It is also the time of the GREEN-GYM! with digging, weeding, weed-eating, and mowing the greenery. and thinking about this coming winter's firewood...
It is all good-it is all God.

  2. "All creature great and small,
    All things wise and wonderful,
    All things bright and beautiful,
The Lord God made them all"

I became aware of these words from the book-titles by James Herriot. I also know that there is a hymn by this name but do not know the author, nor have I heard the music. The words are precious to me.
