Birthday Card Serving Tray

As I've said before I'm a bit of a saver. I have the hardest time throwing away anything anyone has given me, especially cards. In this post I showed how I recycles my husband's cigar boxes to store some of these saved items. I made one for greeting cards but couldn't fit them all in. What did I do with the others you ask? Read on....

Birthday cards...

A serving tray from the thrift store ($3)
Note: I forgot to take a photo of the one I actually used but this is pretty close to it.

Supplies: Color Spray Paint, Mod Podge, Clear Spray Paint

Sprayed the tray...

Laid out the cards...

Adhered and covered with Mod Podge...

Decided it needed a little something more...
Sanded some of the edges for more detail and spray painted with clear...

Finished...

Put it to the test...

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
