Minion Cupcakes

This past weekend my niece made these amazing cupcakes for her daughter's (my grandniece) 6th birthday party. My niece is a fabulous photographer so I am not surprised when she shows off one of her many other talents.

She didn't know I was going to post this so there are no photos of the process but I cut and pasted a few to follow. Hope they help. Please post any questions and I will be happy to get an answer from her.

Supplies:

*Bake and frost the number of cupcakes needed. Since the average box cake mix usually makes about 24 cupcake I will use that number for instruction purposes.

*Using a the swirl technique and a small star decorating tip
ice the cupcakes.

*Cut each of the Twinkies in half and decorate each to look like one of the minions.

Once the minions are completed, place the cut side facing down on top of the cupcake.
A photo of the finished cupcakes one more time....

Here is a professional photograph of the Birthday Girl taken by her mom.

I told you she was an awesome photographer. For more of her work click HERE and HERE.

Thanks for visiting,

  4. Hi Debbie, I love these. I just might have to make them when my granddaughters come to visit. They would love to get in on the fun decorating these charming little guys. We have not seen the second movie, but the first one is one of our favorites. I am your newest follower. I love blogging and sharing ideas, but most of all I enjoy making new blogging friends. Please come visit, I would be honored to have you follow me back :)
I'm just a grandma enjoying each wonderful new day the good Lord blesses me with.
    Stay happy, Connie :)
