a few of my favorite things

I've been a bit under the weather this week leaving me a day shy of a project post. I try to post a minimum of five per week.  This motivates me to keep the creative juices flowing. They are still flowing but a little slow this week.  I hope to be back on track in a few days so please bear with me.

While forcing myself to rest I started thinking about a few of my favorite things. Of course I have more than a few but here’s what came to mind, (with some links if you want to find out more).

SWAN CREEK CANDLES

Just like the ad says…Intense fragrance, Clean Burning, Lead Free. 

I promise you will be hooked and there are many different fragrances. 

My favorite is Pumpkin Vanilla.

It secures to the rim of your paint can by a magnet and holds your paint brush.

I keep them at the door and slip them on over my dirty shoes when I need to enter the house.

A few of my favorite things...

Cream colored ponies and crisp apple strudels. 

Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles. 

Wild geese.... 

Wait a minute...these are not MY favorite things. Well I do like ponies and apple crisp but would rather hear chimes and am not found of veal. 

 So...what ARE my favorite things? Hmmmm, a question to ponder.  

Some have stayed with me since childhood: 

Some became "favorites" as I entered into adulthood:

I started sewing most of my clothes, love love loved college, and listened to Madonna A LOT (still all favs)

Some were considered "favorite" when I was younger but no longer rank:

Rock concerts, fancy cars, and very high heeled shoes

Church concert last Easter, Honda Civic, Flats (Oh my)

 Some have been favorites since as far back as I can remember and are still on the top of the list:
