Sharpie Lamp Shade

Inspiration comes from everywhere.

I have a sweater that I love because of its design and colors. I also have a plain white thrift store lamp shade ($3) and a box of colorful sharpies that beg to be used.
Put it all together and what do you get....?

    1. Thanks Richella. Yes, I did do it freehand but it would have worked just as well if I had put the sweater under the shade and lightly traced the design with a pencil. I have another shade to do, just waiting for the inspiration. Thanks for visiting.

  7. Oh my word, I totally didn't read that close enough! I featured this tonight on my Trash 2 Treasure party but I thought you actually cut up the sweater and used it to recover your lampshade! I was thinking, but she loved her sweater??? Hmmmm, now she can't wear it anymore! I'm a dork. AND you are talented!!!! :) Looks awesome
