Thanksgiving Serving Stand

Happy Friday and Happy November. Hope everyone had a fun, safe, and sugar filled Halloween. If you have been following me you already know that we sure did. Halloween is such fun time and I am always sad to see it pass but it does change my focus to the next of our American holidays; Thanksgiving

It always baffles me when I am in the stores and see hoards of Halloween decor but very little for Thanksgiving. So, what's a blogger to do? Create some!!

Here is one of several project geared toward making my Thanksgiving table (and home) a bit more cheery.

I found the plate, bowel, and salt shaker (yes they sold them separately) at RiteAid for 50% off.

In case you don't have a RiteAid in your area it is a drug store chain in the United States.
Click here to see if you have one in your area.

This is not the first serving stand that I have made using a plate and bowels so for further instructions click here and here.

I measured for the center of the plate and marked for placement of the turkey shaker.

Then using epoxy gel I glued the turkey shaker over the dot.

Hint: I found it easier to line up for center while standing directly over the plate. I like the epoxy gel because it does not harden immediately, which gave me time to adjust the turkey shaker to center.

Here is the serving stand in use. Cute huh?

Stay tuned for more Thanksgiving crafts and as always, thanks for visiting!!
