Happy Labor Day

The official end of summer is here, or at least that's what most people say during the Labor Day weekend. A time when we heat of the BBQ, have a day off and enjoy the last lazy days of summer.

A day off is always a great thing but it is actually this holiday that allows me to have a respected, well paying job in the first place. It made me start to think about the true reason for this holiday.

Labor Day earned its way onto the calendar because of the united effort of American workers through history. It became an official holiday in recognition of their effort and of the spirit behind it. A celebration of a movement that made work conditions and technology better for us all.  Thanks to all those who did this for me! Enjoy!!
